New EU Language?

The European Commission has just announced an
agreement whereby English will be the official
language of the European Union rather than German,
which was the other possibility.

As part of the negotiations, the British Government
conceded that English spelling had some room for
improvement and has accepted a 5- year phase-in plan
that would become known as "Euro-English".

In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c".
Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with
joy.

The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of "k". This
should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one
less letter.

There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond
year when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced with
"f". This will make words like fotograf 20% shorter.

In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling
kan be expekted to reach the stage where more
komplikated changes are possible.

Governments will enkourage the removal of double
letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate
speling.

Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent
"e" in the languag is disgrasful and it should go
away.

By the 4th yer people wil be reseptiv to steps such as
replasing "th" with "z" and "w" with "v".

The Passion Grows Stronger (Apr06 Class Outing)

a few of us gathered at whitesands ntuc to buy the food.
we all grabbed some stuff each.
and weilip's parents drove us to sarahh's house

-weilip's car is bomb-
lip : wilson, u have to sit on the roof
wiL : -.- okay

-we all moved to the carpark and saw the car..
wiL : ur car so big... i sit on the roof for what>< -i thought in my mind birdwaste shield-

sarahh's house is interesting.
it's on the first floor.
it feels as if it's like a totally different plane as i entered the place.
-pls dun think off tangent yet.. wait and see-
but well.. look at the pics first.


is it just me or does her house look as if it's a sandy beach resort?
-it's supposedly a swimming pool-
that's why everyone is like smiling, i'm like thinking. -hehe-

come to think of it, maybe i should have flashed my ntuc link card and pay 10% less for class funds..
cause ntuc union members are supposed to enjoy 10% off -nods-

what's next?
well, we sort of waited for people to turn up before we started getting our hands on these packets of food.

okay, i'm getting lame there.. but i was hungry..

and yea, i really was. and kaleni turned up around now.
and i guess when a man gets hungry, he goes hunting.
so i went around scouting for food and ended in front of the barbeque pit?
before i opened the lid, i kinda prayed, hopefully food with just appear. like -poof-
but to my shocking surprise, -the voltage was round 500-
i found.. a giant fork.
a giant tweezer.(luckily gen didnt think she will use it to pluck my poor eyebrows)

i took up the giant fork.
and gave it a good stare...
and said...

overwhelmed by hunger,
my senses were confused

i think our class is quite talented in the area of chinese opera.
but if we think over the lines of english, i think this scene reminds me of LOTR
